Scenario #1: Full Mandate
Here at ALDI, the health and well-being of our employees & customers has always remained a top priority. We believe the vaccine is absolutely critical to fighting the virus, as it protects not only your health but also the health of others. Additionally, the vaccine is the most significant component in creating a safe in-person work environment. Increased vaccination rates help reduce strain on our healthcare system and medical workers who have been working tirelessly through this pandemic. We know that, according to the CDC, all authorized COVID-19 vaccines significantly help in protecting against severe illness requiring hospitalization and death.
Furthermore, to help ensure the safety of our employees & our in-person workspaces, starting [insert date], ALDI will require U.S. employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless approved for a reasonable accommodation due to a disability or religious belief.
TBA: Employees who will be affected by this vaccine mandate include:
- [ insert roles that are affected - if applicable ]
Employees who are unvaccinated will be subject to weekly onsite COVID-19 tests. Proof of a negative test must be presented each week or the employee will not be able to work onsite (National Services) or be eligible to work (Store/Warehouse).
Per current CDC guidelines, all employees must wear facial coverings in public workspaces regardless of vaccination status.
