A: An Open House interview is for candidates who have already applied for a position online, and are chosen by the Hiring Manager to interview in a group setting with other qualified candidates.

Q: What position am I interviewing for at this Open House?

A: The Open House invitations are sent via email or text. The email invitation contains the position within the subject line. For example:

Subject: ALDI Open House Invite - Part-Time Store Associate - PARTT13871

For text messages, to see which position the invitation is for, you must check the status of your application here [insert link].

Q: Can you tell me more about the position and hours?

A: To learn more about the position that you are interested in, please refer to the job posting of that position or discuss this with the hiring manager at the event.

Q: How should I dress for an Open House?

A: It's always important to dress appropriately for a job interview. Generally, you’ll want to wear professional or business attire. This might mean a suit/sport jacket and slacks with a shirt and tie, or a blouse and dress pants or a dress.  Close toed shoes are also recommended.

Q: Should I bring my resume?

A: A resume is not required unless specified in the invitation. However, it is recommended that you come prepared to your interview with printed copies of your resume, business cards, a pen, notepad and a list of questions for you to ask your interviewer.

Q: How long should I expect to be there?

A: The length of the interview will vary depending on how many interviewees attend the Open House. Generally, candidates should prepare to be at the location for an hour.

Q: I’m running late, can I still attend the Open House?

A: Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate late arrivals due to ensuring an organized Open House experience for all candidates involved.

Q: Who do I ask for once I arrive at an Open House?

A: Upon arrival at an Open House, the Hiring Manager will be conducting interviews. There will be signage directing you where to go. If you do not see any directions posted, you may let an ALDI representative know you are there for a scheduled Open House and they will direct you.

Q: Where can I park for my Open House?

A: For an Open House located in a store, you may park in the store parking lot.

A: If you are unable to attend the Open House you were invited to, we recommend that you reply to the invite with “no” (if a response is required). If a response is not required, then you do not have to respond - the Hiring Manager will send out another invitation if the position remains available. Please note that an interview is required to be considered for any position, if unable to attend the interview we cannot guarantee the position will remain open
